Building self-aware, distributed network programs using DTrace and Node.js

Javascript is everywhere. As Node.js approaches 1.0, it's proving itself to be effective as a tool for rapidly prototyping and bringing to market sophisticated networking programs. DTrace bindings provide the ability to dive deep into the kernel space. With this talk we explore how you can leverage various Node.js modules and bindings to make distributed network programs that have a sense of self-awareness.
